That's called wrapping his head wound and performing CPR, you numbskulls.

That's what I said earlier. In some versions of CPR one strikes a blow to the chest if it appears that the heart has stopped. That wasn't the way I was taught to do it, but I saw it done that way at an accident site once. To an uninformed Third-Worlder, it might look like a beating. CPR can get pretty rough.
Sounds like CPR. And considering other reports that had the back of his head blown out, this was probably to keep his brains in.
