The criminal pointed a gun at the employees and threatened them, they were acting under the influence of post traumatic stress syndrome.
They had to beat him with a pipe in order to cure themselves.
And... if he is successful in suing them, he will have to pay them so they can pay him.

You are correct. However, it makes the armed robber sound more harmless, and thus easier to make into a victim if you call him a burglar.

MSM spin, is all it is. And it makes me want to hurl. (I quit buying that rag of a newspaper 16 years ago)
