The lawyer pursuing this case (Phillip R. Hurwitz)is obviously lacking character, but he does have some good links on his website. As to this case I don't think it will go too far. Rochester judges hear tons of shit from crackheads everyday and most of them have very little patience for it.

Next time you are robbed, take his gun and hold him at bay. Take the pipe and beat his lawyer. And beat his lawyer. And beat his lawyer. And beat his lawyer. And beat his lawyer. And beat his lawyer. And beat his lawyer. And beat his lawyer. And beat his lawyer. And beat his lawyer. And beat his lawyer. And beat his lawyer. And beat his lawyer. And beat his lawyer. And beat his lawyer. And beat his lawyer. And beat his lawyer. And beat his lawyer. And beat his lawyer.

Here in Houston they like to say we have the best cops money can buy.

Nowadays as a USPS contractor, anyone breaking my trailer door seal like that will go to jail on federal charges. The state laws do not matter, interfering with the USPS is not a good idea.

I don't think the title is quite accurate. I don't think armed robbery is the same as burglary.

I'ld love it if they put me on the jury. I registered to vote here 10 years ago and have not been called yet though. I hope I'm not on some sort of list.

If I am robbed Should I hold the perp at bay and Beat his lawyer? Or just hold him at bay? And if I kill the perp should I still Beat his lawyer?

No, the poor robber wouldn't have suffered any emotional distress if they had just handed over the cash...

However, by locking him up, I kidnapped him, which is a felony, so guess who went to jail?

That is insane. Criminal laws must show intent. At best you were conducting a citizen's arrest. If it makes you feel any better, I don't think they would have gotten a conviction..

Sorry you had to deal with such morons..

In most jurisdictions it's not. Perhaps he pled..

Sadder a lawyer will help him do it.

I wish so badly that a judge could strip a dirty filthy scummy lawyer's license on the spot when they file crap like this. Any lawyer who would file such a suit (which is to say, most of them) is not just a greedy pirate, but an outright enemy of civilization. I want to bring back horsewhipping, tar and feathers for many members of our Bar and Bench.

the blackrobedcriminal who let the suit carry forward should be impeached...

Let me correct that. In a just world, he would be horsewhipped in the street at high noon by a committee of vigilance, then, tarred, feathered, ridden out of town on a rail, and thrown in a sewer ditch after being given the worst beating of his life.

The lawyer should get the same treatment, and then be hung in chains at a crossroads until the ravens have picked his skeleton clean.

We would be better off under the law of the jungle than under the legal and judicial tyranny under which we suffer. We must do everything in our power to undermine the entire system.

I think the lawyer should get hit one out of three times if they're going to collect one out of three dollars...

I just wondered if lawyers could be counter sued for damages if the case is dismissed.

I'd doubt it, since lawyers write the laws.

Amazing story.

Perhaps the best solution would have been to play dumb, close the door, drive off for a few hundred miles into a bad bad part of say, Detroit, and then open the door and order the guy out of the truck.

Then drive off--and let the locals teach him a lesson he would never forget.
