Ann Coulter criticized four of the women whose husbands died on 9/11, and now a congressmen from the New York/New Jersey area has written a scathing letter-signed by nearly two dozen other congressmen-to the author.
In Coulter's new book "Godless: The Curch of Liberalism," she wrote, "I've never seen people enjoying their husbands' deaths so much," and that the four were "reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by giref-arazzis."
In response, House Democrats from Long Island and New York City have signed their names to a letter drafted by Rep. Steve Israeil (D-Hungtington) demanding that Coulter apologize.

She will be crying all the way to the bank.
ROFLMAO! Dubuque? The first insightful post on Kos.
LOL!
I doubt I'll hear back, but DID write him.
(In response, House Democrats from Long Island and New York City have signed their names to a letter drafted by Rep. Steve Israeil (D-Hungtington) demanding that Coulter apologize.)
She should say, "Sorry these women are enjoying their husbands' deaths so much."
WELL, EXCUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSE MEEEEEEEEE!
Sincerely,
Ann
She can apologize after Michael Moore does.
Ann Coulter should never, ever apoligize to the Democrat scum and vermin that were directly responsible for 911 and other tragic attacks on innocent Americans. End of story!!!
You just crack me up!!
It occurs to me after some thought that the intention in the article is a major lie to start with. Congressmen do not write letters, do they? They may sign them, which is the stamp of approval, but I seriously doubt if one word contained in the letter, issued from a congressman.
Always funny how the people who cry loudest about free speech are the first to want to repress it if it doesn't go along with their views. Ann must be loving the publicity.
That's great! I should file that letter somewhere for all the constituent mail that comes my way.
I would only add "Now shut up and go away."
So how should Ann respond?
Send them each a autographed copy of the book with a note to actually read it.
Ann got the liberals to overplay their hand again. At first she seemed extreme. Now when the high priests in congress attack a private citizen for speech, they have become more extreme than Ann.
Predictable.
"Personally, I would frame it if I were her."
Kinda like getting an author's "Medal of Honor" award from the left!
She? Are you pretending like you are quoting her? How weird.
First off, I'm a woman.
Second off, there's nothing in the Constitution that involves evolution.
For the record, I am a 100% Constitutionalist Conservative. I'm pro-life, pro-America, pro-Constitution, especially the 2nd and 10th. I'd like to see the 17th Amendment repealed, though.
But, because I accept the evidence for evolution, somehow none of that matters? Gimme a break.
Out of power they are treasonous and dangerous and given the mortal sin for ignoring political correctness today, Ann Coulter is right now out in front of even Rush Limbaugh.
Her intellect and grasp of the issues will destroy all those ridiculous enough to take her on....< cough Hillary >
Ride this wave, Annie!
Ride it all the way up to where they rent the umbrellas.
And I remember those same ''Jersey girls'' during the run up to the 2004 election, after the RNC released their first campaign commercial using a 2 second photo of 911 with some firemen rescuing people in it. They appeared on every talk show they could ,saying how ''outraged'' they were and how'' disgusting'' it was that Bush was ''politicizing'' 911 all for his own political gain. They demanded the RNC pull the ads immediately! ..........Two days after the commercials disappeared , I happened to glance up at the tv and saw those same ''outraged Jersey girls'' appearing on the stump with Lurch smiling in numerous cities and singing along with Bruce Springstein, all in the hopes of getting Kerry elected! Can we all say ''hypocrites'' anyone!
But Kerry lost, didn't he? ;^)
