I'm not getting coverage here yet, so haven't seen the horses - but our old rule of thumb was to "throw out" any grays who were dappled if we couldn't decide. It's not an "exacta" science, lol. Box 'em!
I think people like to pick the greys to win because they're the easiest to spot in the pack :~D
