I woulda had him in my tri if I had gone to the local track. For a dollar woulda bet 4/all/all and 8/all/all.

Congratulations to Jara and Jazil.

Yes, I won on Blue Grass Cat coming in second.

I could've won more if Blue Grass Cat won.

I'm content.

Yeah, we could be like the "Producers" and get lots of backing dough from some rich, cotton top, blue haired widow.

Did you just see the litttle tribute ABC did, to this years races and horses in general? It was beautiful. They did a fantastic job. I wish they had all the races.

Hair- can we make a special request for you to do a thread for the Breeder's Cup races Nov. 4 this year? You do such a great job.

I always preferred Sidewalks of New York as the Belmont song.

Anyone have Jazil? 18 yr old jockey.

Some guy on another of gate2wire's threads did.
And I wouldn't be surprised if he also had Jazil and Bluegrass Cat in a box quinela, along with Steppenwolfer.

I did... I love that stuff... I'm a sucker for a guy with a dream, a closeup of some horses and dramatic music :~D

Not sure what you're talking about. The UPenn animal hospital is for all kinds of animals, not just horses, from all over the world, not just Chester County.

No, I didn't make a donation, not in $$. This horse's owners have more than paid for it through the years in big bucks donations and their time and energy to benefit the hospital.

If you had cancer, I wouldn't begrudge you the use of our MD Anderson Cancer Center or anything in the Texas Medical Center.

I don't quite get what upsets you about making one of your state's exceptional educational and medical facilities even more outstanding, for many further advancements in veterinary medicine. The first animal specialties were created there decades ago.

If you like, I'll *allow* you to make a donation to Texas A&M's vet medical programs!

I missed that--wish I'd seen it. LOL, I stood up and started yelling for Bob & John, against my better judgment (see what it did to him?) - and choked on a piece of the ham sandwich I was eating.

Shades of Mama Cass's demise danced in my head. Actually, I started wheezing with an asthma attack and don't have anything to take for it - I missed everything *after* the finish line, when they said it was a photofinish. I'm OK now.

Congrats to Jazil! At least I didn't jinx *him*!

Darn, I had no idea the race was today. I've been watching the World Cup and French Open tennis, didn't see any commercials touting this race.

That's encouraging news about Barbaro.

It's a university veterinary school and research hospital. Surely you aren't surprised a State University receives state funds to operate, and in this case, to upgrade and improve, like other programs in the university.
