Somehow I knew this would happen. Here is my response.

It's not the titles, the whole story changed and he used the same URL. In almost all the papers, the other story's gone and is replaced by the new one.

i posted this to the other thread but it accurate tells my feelings.

If the so called witness was living next door to the most wanted terrorists in Iraq and the third most in the world, would it be absurd to believe this witness was anything but neutral.

However, the loony Hate America First Crowd known as the Democrat party would rather take the neighbors word over that of an American soldier.

Personally, I would have taken a knife and slit the pigs throat.

Then as he laid there dying in the dirt filthy with his feces and blood, I would have placed a piece of Hog fat between his sorry lips just before he went to live for all eternity in hell.

Thank you - best post I've seen in days...maybe weeks.

No more of this "we will look into it."
But no more of this demonizing our brave heros.

And wasting our military resources by "investigating" BS.

Thanks for the link.

It's a real shame that we have a generation of reporters who think it's better to run down our guys than to accurately report how truly great and heroic these guys are. They represent the best of us.

What's Russert, Stephie, Matthews and Schieffer gonna' do tomorrow... it'll be a riot watching these DNC flacks hemmin' an hawin' all around this!

Then they can show the film of Zaqueeri hacking off the head of Nick Berg as he cries for mercy.

Pray for W and Our Troops

Absolutely! The fact that this "neighbor" is saying this is to protect his behind. Read the accounts of the bombing...there were people who sold Zarqawi out...what better way to try to protect himself from terrorists who will be searching to kill those who talked

When dealing with self proclaimed terrorists (murderers)scum you use the most forceful message possible.

Compassion is lost on these people.

I don't consider the president of Iran to be any better than any other terrorists pig.

Dandelions are pretty to some people when they bloom but they sure do mess up a good lawn.

Do you think that one of the reasons we took so few prisoners in the pacific during WWII was the Bataan Death March? The media never reported on how few prisoners we were taking did they?

My uncle died in the Philippines defending against the Japanese invasion.

The treatment of American and Filipino prisoners wasn't very nice.

I am sure that some probably got a little payback for the atrocities committed during the war.

Yes they did.

We should learn to remember our history it's a great guide. The Japanese today are great allies, but when we went to war with them WE WENT TO WAR. It's possible that in the long term 40-50 years the middle east Arabs will become great allies too, but in the mean time we should really go to WAR.

No other witnesses have come forward to corroborate the account of a man resembling al-Zarqawi being beaten. "

Yet they print an unverified one-source rumor as an important news story.... No mention of how far this man was from the scene, that maybe he wasnt seeing the action right, maybe it was medical attention. etc

Goodness, if I want *real* journalism, I need "The News of the World" on the supermarket checkout rack, and not this drivel!
