You know why?
They are now Gov't contractors, not GS/GG, etc...
Even if you are correct, which I am not sure about, that would mean they are contracted to perform certain tasks, and when finished their contract is up. They also are not covered by the government employee health insurance and retirement plans, and are not members of the union. I would think this is a GOOD thing.
