Gotta wonder if the NYT saying "Muhammad Ismael, a 40-year-old Iraqi taxi driver, was standing outside his home in the tiny village of Hibhib" will be enough to get Mr. Ismael killed by people who don't think he should be noticing things like that and telling it to the American press. Not that the NYT cares.

Quite possibly, this "Muhammad" fellow is an allied operative, brought along for the purpose of planting the version of the story that we want published.

That was the first thing I thought when I read this story. Hopefully there are a lot of Muhammad Ismael's that are 40 yrs old and drive taxis. Otherwise, he's just been killed by the NYT.
