Well I do have a beef with Honda. The car is only five years old and the rubber on one windshielf wiper has gone bad. But when I showed it to the dealer he replaced it, so I'm not going to complain too much.

I really hope you don't mean the wiper blades. I can't think of any other rubber on my car's wiper assemblies, and wiper blades can be replaced yourself for about $8 and 2 minutes of your time. If you just want to replace the inserts it's even cheaper. But I'm holding out hope you're talking about something else.

Sunlight can ruin a wiper rubber long before five years. You did well in any event but particularly since the dealer gave you a replacement.
