Bush's Trademark Bravado Banished

WASHINGTON -- A new, more humble George W. Bush, minus his pilot's flight suit and Texas oilman bravado, appeared in the White House Rose Garden yesterday to speak of good news from Iraq.
This was not the same person who dressed in military garb for the aircraft carrier stunt on May 1, 2003 that claimed "Mission Accomplished." Nor was it the leader who said a few months later, "Bring 'em on" when things started going badly, or who declared when Saddam Hussein was captured at the end of that first year: "In the history of Iraq, a dark and painful era is over. A hopeful day has arrived."

Not so fast. With yesterday's news, I think he's feeling much better. He concluded his Camp David press conference by saying, "Thank you for coming. Now, get out of here."
No kidding. He was joking, of course. I am sure the press and Dems will be calling him "cocky" within a matter of hours.

Do these morons really get paid to write this drivel? I really have to give careful consideration to changing careers, hell I can write like a 10 year old school girl with the best of them.

This was not the same person who dressed in military garb for the aircraft carrier stunt on May 1, 2003 that claimed "Mission Accomplished." Morons - still don't have a clue! He didn't "dress" in military garb for a stunt...he flew a freaking military fighter jet en-route to the aircraft carrier to thank his Troops for the quick, amazing mission of toppling a dictator.
"Saying 'Bring it on.' Kind of tough talk, you know, that sent the wrong signal to people. ... I learned some lessons about expressing myself maybe in a little more sophisticated manner. You know - "Wanted dead or alive," that kind of talk.
My personal favorites of the Bush presidency.
The new humility could come in part from his falling out of favor with the American people.
Naw.....the alleged "falling out of favor" has come as a result of his "new humility" IMO.

What a pile of crap. IMHO Dubya is as tough as they come.
I'd like to know what other president had to fight a war where the loyal opposition and the press allied themselves with the enemy.
AND, despite that, he's winning.
I believe Bush is the toughest man on the planet.

Bush is unchanging and unchangeable and it drives the left batty that they cannot mold him and shape him like they did Bill Clinton. Bush will not play fair!

--- Bush is unchanging and unchangeable and it drives the left batty that they cannot mold him and shape him --- That is EXACTLY it! It bugs them to no end that Bush will not waiver. It drives them so batty that they have had to swing so far to the left in an attempt to get a rise out of Bush that they, themselves, are now supporters of dictators, totalitarian regimes, and oppression... all in the name of hating Bush.
It's amazing.

Phelps forgot my favorite.
President Bush walking into a gang of armed Chilean Police and retrieving his body guard. "He's with me."
I loved it.

So let me get this straight. The Left and its MSM minions criticized GWB for being an "arrogant cowboy." Now they criticize him for being too "subdued." Hmmmmm...so the game is played this way: no matter what GWB does, he can't win. Not with the Left and it's media shills and, frankly, not with many on the Right.

Wasn't that ship chosen because they had left for duty the day after 9/11, or they were on their way home and turned around?
Anyway they had been gone a year?
From the President actual words that day, no one thought our guys were coming home.
This is a manufactured issue from the campaign.
To: pissant
LOL, the bathhouse boys in NY are so jealous of the President in his flight suit!
To: roses of sharon
