How would some one arrested last spring know where Zarqawi was going to be on a certain day in the future.
That question is indicative of the most actual critical thinking done so far in the replies on this thread.
What the article couldn't really spell out was exactly what information provided by this guy allowed them to infiltrate the organization. Other rumors floating around right now is that once they were able to id Z.'s holy man that was what eventually enabled them to get him. Maybe the holy man's name what the tidbit that this guy provided.

Officials say Karbouly confessed to his role in the terror cell and provided crucial information on the names of Zarqawi commanders and locations of their safe houses.
I thought this sentence in the story pretty much covered that. Keep an eye on those named and the places identified as "safe" houses, and go from there. Yes, it took a while, but it was probably the starting point that was necessary to finally nail this pig.
