The Dems would have been better off if a term limits constitutional amendment had been adopted. The Dems who would take over have been in Washington two decades or more. If there were term limits, they would have some fresh faces. Why would anyone want to hand over Congress to Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank, Charlie Rangel, et al?
The problem with Democrat "leadership" is...ILLEGAL DRUGS.
Far more than Republicans, Democrats are now, and have in the past, indulged in illegal drugs. It shows up in their inability to think and in their herd-like adherence to illogical ideas.
Term limits AND mandatory retirement age. There are just too many politicians in D.C. that are suffering from acute senility. They are taking up valuable space. Of course, it will never happen.
