| USS COLE DEPLOYS — U.S. sailors aboard the USS Cole haul in mooring lines to get the ship underway from Naval Station Norfolk, Va., June 8, 2006. This deployment marks the first time the ship has deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations since Oct. 12, 2000, when the ship was attacked by a small boat packed with explosives, killing 17 sailors in the port of Aden, Yemen.
