SIRIUS uses their Dish Network owners to subsidize the programs in place of advertisers.
The great majority of people who have Dish do not listen to sorrius.

That's good news. Sirius took off the good Conservatives to put Fox people on. I don't even listen to talk radio anymore in the car. With Satellite Radio, there's so much great music. Right now I'm into the Broadway network. On long trips, thte Comedy Channels are fantastic for making time go by. Like everything, I can't imagine now not having satellite radio.

They should raise the price of sorrius instead of dish network customers subsidizing radio!

What's Sirius's conservative lineups now, anyway? I was livid when they dropped Savage Nation a year or so ago.

About 3.00 a month and I hate it. This is the reason I would like to only pay for the type of programs I watch.

When I first got it, they had Laura Ingraham, Tammy Bruce, and some others that were pretty good. But now, it's FOX, so I have to hear the blowhard O'Reilly, and others who I can see on TV. That's why I listen to music. I'll check this new guy out.

XM has Fox AND a conservative talk channel that features Laura Ingraham. Unfortunately, they took off Michael Medved in favor of Dr. Laura. She would fit better on the Family talk station. I generally agree with her message, but I really don't enjoy listening to her.

They had a good lineup when I got it - Ingraham, Tammy Bruce, Jerry Doyle, Savage Nation, and shortly afterwards, GG Liddy. I dropped them in December on the eve of Stern coming in.

I like Laura for NOT sugar coating everything. People call her up to hear her scold them. They all know the answer she's gonna give. I think it's a very strange phenomenon. She ALWAYS says the right thing. Sometimes I'm amazed how she so quickly gets to the heart of the matter. Yes, sometimes it's not pretty.

I agree. We need more like her. I just personally get a little uncomfortable listening to her.

I once called Jerry Doyle and followed up with an email. HE CALLED ME the next day - at home - to tell me that he was going to replay my call that day. It was bizarre to have a talk show host CALL YOU! LOL!

Jerry is a super guy and a fine host. Before he got his own show he would be one of Michael Savage's substitutes - Doyle, Mancow, Bob Grant. That's when Savage had great hosts on deck. His current sub hosts all stink.
Jerry is a Las Vegan these days, like me. I'd love to bump into him some day!
