If you are looking for the legacy of Abu Musab al Zarqawi, do not look in the concrete rubble of so-called safe house in Baqubah that became his final resting place. Instead, look less than 10 miles to the west, on the side of the road in the desert town of Hadid, for a pile of cardboard banana boxes.
Inside those boxes were nine human heads.
Some of the heads still had their blindfolds on. Iraqi police are still attempting to identify the murdered men.
Days earlier, in Baquba, Iraqi police found another eight severed heads. One of those heads belonged to a prominent Sunni Muslim imam, who preached peace and tolerance.
For the past few weeks, U.S. military intelligence analysts had seen a spike in beheadingsa specialty of the Zarqawi network.
Of course, Zarqawi will be remembered chiefly as a beheader. He apparently enjoyed wielding the knife and slowly hacking off the head of Nicholas Berg of West Chester, Pa. In a video that Zarqawis followers proudly posted on the Internet, Berg screams in pain in seven long minutes as Zarqawi saws through his neck.
Zarqawi also is believed to have beheaded Eugene Armstrong of Hillsdale, Mich.
Zarqawi is also believed to have beheaded Ken Bigley, the Liverpool, U.K.-based engineer who came to Iraq to help people, in October 2004.
Now it is Zarqawis own head that is capturing the worlds attention. Displaying his head has several immediate benefits: it boosts the morale of Iraqi police and military officers, who have been taking increased casualties in the past few weeks and were spooked by the Zarqawi video released last month. In that video, Zarqawi made a point of firing an M-4 and an M-249two automatic weapons that are only used by U.S. forces. If he can take guns from the hands of Americans he killed and turn those weapons against the worlds sole remaining superpower, maybe Zarqawi is invincible after all. Yesterdays air strike has already reversed the downward spiral of Iraqi police morale, one source told me.
Nor can Zarqawi be easily replaced. He had a kind of rogue-ish charisma that resonated in the Arab world. He was featured in Arabic-language pop songs and feted on Arabic soap operas. His persona drew hundreds of Saudis, Syrians and other foreigners to fight alongside him in Iraq. There is simply no one else in the organization who has his aura.
At the very least, the beheadings and suicide attacks will decline sharply.

This may not be the end, but it is the beginning of the end of the terrorists in Iraq. The way won't end tomorrow, but I think what remains of it has been cut in half. I think there was about 3 to 4 years left on the terrorist movement in Iraq. I think this cuts it down to about another 2 years. A typical life cycle of an insurgence is about 7 years. Zarqawi being sent to hell will cut this down to about a 5 year insurgency.
But hey, I could be wrong! I just hope I'm not.
By the way, don't you love Dems. who attack Bush for not getting Bin Laden as yet, but they claim getting Zarqawi makes no difference? Spare me.
I like how the Dems are saying that now that Zarqawi is dead we can start bringing the troops home... All the while other Dems are saying that Zarqawi's death makes no difference and that we're losing.
Shouldn't we all be dancing in the streets tonight?
Satan reclaims one of his own!
If there is any true divine justice, Zarq is being slow roasted and tormented by demons who are sawing off his gourd with a rusty butter knife.
My guess is that no evidence will convince him that the Iraqi people deserved to be rescued from this type of atrocity.

``George Bush is more of a terrorist than Zarqawi is. Zarqawi is attributed to the deaths of a couple hundred people, including my son. George Bush is responsible for 150,000 deaths and another one every 12 minutes.''
"al Zarquawi is just a human being like the rest of us", and that he "feels the pain of al Zarquawi's grieving family because of his own son's death". - Michael Berg
I think Zarqawi grabbed the wrong member of the family...
I nominate this creep for Pathetic Moron of the Year .
With Cindy Sheehen coming in a close second.

tell him what you think .....
"I think Zarqawi grabbed the wrong member of the family..."
Yeah, all they would have needed to lob off Mike Berg's pinhead was a pair of finger nail clippers...
Can you imagine being so warped you'd show sympathy towards the vermin who tortured and murdered your own son, while dripping with hatred towards the man trying to bring them to justice? Does this just not show how mental liberals are? Liberalism TRULY is a mental illness.
Where is the official statement from DNC moonbat, Howard Dean?

Sort of reminds you of Cindy Sheehan doesn't it?
He brought a dull knife to a 500lb bomb fight, other islamist scumbags should take note of the results.
I fail to see an aura in that photo. Do you?
Yes, I would say, judging from the photo, he, well, lacks a certain 'gravitassssssssssss'...
And he is, most indubitably, croaked.
Good riddance.
There is divine justice, as we can read in the Bible and see from the fulfilled prophecies in the Old and New Testament. And there are many more to come, as that time comes for that "divine judgement".
It's shown in the Book of Revelation, chapter 20, as we see the Great White Throne Judgment. This happens (as we are told there) -- after -- Jesus Christ has been ruling and reigning upon this earth for 1,000 years.
From time immemorial (in the past) to the present and on into the future, up to that time of the Great White Throne Judgement, all the "unjust dead" -- are held in the "grave" -- in "Hell". That is the "holding place" until the time of the Great White Throne Judgment.
At that time of that judgment, that's when "the books are opened" and all who were being held are "judged according to their works". And from their works, all are found guilty -- and all are thrown into the "lake of fire" -- which is the eternal dispostion for all those "unjust dead".
*That place* (Hell now, and then the "Lake of Fire" later) is where Zarqawi is. He has *now* definitely found out that there is no "Allah" -- but rather -- there is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob -- who rules over this earth and preserves and protects Israel (the nation and people that Zaraqawi was intent on destroying).
Now he knows how wrong he was. Now he knows that there is nothing he can do about it. Now he knows what his final disposition is. Now he is just waiting. What a miserable wait it will be.

The key for the rest who are still living in this world today -- is to not find themselves in the same place as Zarqawi. And to be there does not take chopping off heads, like Zarqawi. It only takes rejecting the one whom God (the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob) sent for the salvation of the world -- Jesus, the Messiah. Don't find yourself in the same place as Zarqawi -- at that time of the Great White Throne Judgment.
Those whose names were not found in the "Lambs Book of Life" were thrown into the Lake of Fire. All one has to do to be in the Lambs Book of Life is to accept Jesus Christ as one's Savior.
He certainly won't be shoving his weight around any time soon. LOL!
You said -- "Sort of reminds you of Cindy Sheehan doesn't it?"
I saw her picture on his web site, endorsing him for Congress....
