In Ann Coulter's latest book, she asserts that "liberalism contains all the attributes of what is generally known as 'religion,'" including a creation mythology (evolution), priests (public school teachers) and a holy sacrament (abortion).
"Godless: The Church of Liberalism," is the fifth book written by the best-selling author and commentator. "Godless" hits store shelves on June 6, 2006 (6/6/06, a date she deliberately chose since the numbers correspond to the mark of the beast.)

Ann is great.
She's the best attack dog the conservatives have.
I love her - EVERYTHING about her. (She could use some more weight though).

She's waaaay to far out in right-field for my taste. Radicals are radicals no matter which point of view they're pushing.

The 'Civil Religion' paradigm has been around for a while. Back when sociologists weren't all leftist hacks, it was quite a popular idea.

Coulter is frequently amusing. And she is getting rich with her act.
But if anyone believes that she is doing the Republican/Conservative cause any good, think again.
Most people don't rad the thoughts that make up the headline, they just read the headline.
And combining the loony headlines with some belief that she speaks for Republicans makes Republicans seem unhinged to the general electorate.

I applaud her. I'm sick and tired of everyone being on eggshells when confronting the Jersy Girls, Ms. Sheehan and their ilk. PC is dead and Ann is the slayer!

Ooo, goody. Another high-minded moralist.
Let me guess: You would rather move people to action by doing what, exactly? Telling nice little stories about the Marxist swine?

Take Rush. He came along and said things we all wanted to hear. He was demolishing the Liberals daily. Having the same frame of mind, his listeners were motivated to go out and work and vote for Republicans. He helped the cause.
Coulter may hit the Liberals the way Rush did/does, but she is not heard in total by the masses, only in a sound bite or a quote. She doesn't motivate anyone for the Republican cause, she turns Independents away. She damages the cause even as she elicits controversy.
