YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
I agree - the MSM won't plaster this everywhere - it's good news.
I've been waiting for them to get that b@st@rd for years... Only thing that could've been better is to get him alive and let him stand trial - really get what he deserved.
I agree with a post above - find his head and stick it on a pike outside of the green zone/International Zone.
I was hoping it was a result of the Canadian arrests, but the news said we got info from Jordan.
The real truth of what goes on on the inside of those societies is very, very opaque.
Good news, though. Congratulations to our troops, and best wishes to W and his team as they undertake an evaluation of where we go from here.
Congratulations, troops! This raid is a tribute to precision bombing and improving intelligence.
The way they did it in the American west works for me. Stick his fly-covered carcass in a coffin... and slant it upright against a wall in the center of town. Spitting is optional.
Iraqi men walk through the scene near the town of Hibhib, northwest of Baqouba, following a US air raid in which Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the al-Qaida-linked militant who led a bloody campaign of suicide bombings, kidnappings and hostage beheadings in Iraq, was killed Wednesday, Iraq's Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki announced Thursday, June 6, 2006. This is a frame from TV of the scene Thursday, June 8 2006, following a US air raid in which Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the al-Qaida-linked militant who led a bloody campaign of suicide bombings, kidnappings and hostage beheadings in Iraq, was killed, Iraq's prime minister said Thursday. Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said al-Zarqawi was killed about Wednesday evening along with seven aides north of Baghdad. The Jordanian-born militant, who is believed to have personally beheaded at least two American hostages, became Iraq's most wanted militant, as notorious as Osama bin Laden, to whom he swore allegiance in 2004. The United States put a US$25 million (about euro20 million) bounty on al-Zarqawi, the same as bin Laden. (AP Photo / APTN)

Especially for them, they get 25 megs. I was thinking, they should do a reality tv Running Man, the movie with Schwarzenegger (sp). Only in this movie the rats are the winner and they could show all the rats living in beautiful Miami with drinks in their hand (non alcoholic of course). And they could have Richard Dawson mc it.
I wonder if the information extracted from the Canadian jihadis who were arrested last week had anything to do with this?
I agree.
A slow painful death would have been preferable.
But I'm not complaining. Dead is dead.
But hold it just a second! Iraq has NOTHING to do with alQaeda! At least that's what the Dims have been saying for three years. This military victory will just blow that myth out of the water, when the media will HAVE to call him alQaeda. Somehow referring to Zarqawi as and "insurgent" won't cut it any more. Love it. Go USA.
His body has. His soul, however, is at a much more elevated temperature..........
Whats's room temperature in Iraq, 115 degrees?
How much you want to bet that the Dems start saying that the only reason it happened was that Bush was trying to boost his poll numbers?
Excellent. Our soldiers deserve highest honors.
FOR SALE<>p> ONE SLIGHTLY DAMAGED SUV. LOW MILEAGE. SOME BLOOD STAINS. FORMER OWNER NO LONGER ABLE TO DRIVE. MUST SELL, ASAP..........
Actually, the word is he was still alive and handed over to Iraqi troops (??). Then he was dead. Hmm.
