Okay smarty, tell me why Iraq is so important.

Are you really that stupid? Ok here it goes. Iraq is of strategic and is a vital concern of the US in the region. They are a great counterbalance to Iran who is growing ever more threatening every day. Let's remember that Iraq fought Iran to a stalemate with 1/3 of the population. The rest of the ME couldn't hope to stop the Iranians, but the Iraqis can. Also, Saddam never liked us and was actively planning to hit us when the Sanctions were to be lifted. You can look it up on one of the several threads pertaining to the translated documents by jveritas.

Also why did the purpose of the Iraq war morph from finding WMD, to freeing the poor Iraqis from the big bad Saddam , to creating a democracy. Which is it? What is the reason for my son to die today?

You son died today? You think your son wouldn't die for another's freedom? You seriously need a history lesson. As for the WMDs, Saddam had the weapons, he had the programs and he was waiting for his opportunity. To say otherwise is , again, showing how ill-informed you are troll.

And if Bush really thought Saddam had WMD and would use them, why did he plant 100,000 GROUND troops in Iraq that would be sitting ducks for Saddam's WMD's. Apparently Bush was'nt worried about that.

You are truly an idiot. Our troops have things called MOPP gear which will protect them in case of a chemical attack. If you are this ill-informed, maybe you should SHUT THE HELL UP. And it's PRESIDENT BUSH to you dipshit.
