He keeps getting sidetracked into the WMD trap and/or the "freedom for the long-oppressed Iraqi people".

Both are worthy goals, but why be afraid to state the obvious:

Why did they fly planes into the twin towers in the first place? People just don't wake up morning and decide to commit a mass killing. There is a HUGE reason for this hate against America. What is it? And yes I have someone in Arlington- America has had so many wars I think almost everyone has someone in a national cemetary.
