I believe it's the sober truth. I do like the fact that he was blown to bits. In fact I think his death should have been much slower. But, hey...as long as we're seen as occupiers, there will be insurgents. And thus more bosses of insurgents.
The hope here is that they won't be as effective as this guy was, but time will tell.
This guy has been the #1 face of AQ in Iraq for years and he is dead, the fact that he was apparently turned in by one of his own is also significant, the fact that it happened as the Iraq government was just finalized is significant.
Perhaps the largest fact is that they are already losing badly but our Driveby Media doesn't see fit to report the progress, this is progress, and they have to report it.
You sound like you buy into the spin that we are losing in Iraq. We aren't.
Well, I guess we'll just have to see how many apply for the job after watching the video tape of this "blow" to their operation. My guess is that anyone who does will suffer the same fate.
