"As bad as that tape is to listen to, it's something more people need to hear.
It takes the sanitized t.v. element off the war and drops the horror of it right in your lap.
I agree with you though that if you hear it once, you never forget it.
Well, I have never heard the sound of a person being murdered, don't even like to watch or read murder mysteries, but it is haunting - maybe more would change thir opinion, but I do think we should be able to see the 9/11/01 scenes more often to remind folks why we are fighting.
