Infor for Vets.
"Veterans Affairs has indicated that it is going to pursue credit-monitoring services for those affected by the data loss, Carr said."
What does this mean? We are getting a lot a double-speak that means nothing,...a few press conferences,...tough talk, and that's about it.
I received a letter today about this, from the VA.
The first report of this mess said that it also included retired military going back years. Now, they're talking about active duty. Which is it or both?
I see nothing about retired in this article?
Guess we weren't affected?
I wonder if this includes vets who have applied for a home loan using the VA. I'm surprised they haven't mentioned this group. I know lots of guys who did a few years and got out with no disability but they did go to the VA for their home loan letter.
I love this WONNNNNDERFUL security. How easily could a terrorist group wreak havoc if it got hold of this. Worry all Uncle Sam's troops. Or someone puts the data up on the internet in some foreign country. Sorry, we gotta reissue all you guys a new social security number?!?
