He's made it clear why he wants out.

Lt. Ehren Watada of the Stryker Brigade writes, "I refuse to be silent any longer. I refuse to watch families torn apart, while the President tells us to ‘stay the course.’ I refuse to be party to an illegal and immoral war against people who did nothing to deserve our aggression.

He's a coward at best. A traitor at worst.

Or more likely, just another loser who signs up with the military for the bennies without any intention of actually "serving".

Thanks for the clarification Edie, and I'm sorry I was short in my reply. But it almost seemed from the first post you may be bringing those questions up to somehow defend him.

To me (and it seems to you) he has no defense. This guy should NOT lead any of our troops.
