Not really; the target of most of their attacks seems to be Jesus Christ and His New Testament followers. Not that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob isn't the same "Father" that Christ prayed to and is only the Son of, but how often do we hear mention of Abraham and the Old Testament in the cases which the ACLU brings suit?
Whether it's the prayer that Jesus taught us, (the Lord's Prayers), being banned from schools, or Christian prayer groups being banned from the public, or the Manger scene being banned from public property, or "Christmas" being banned from schools and forcibly replaced with "Winter Holiday Season", the target is almost always Our Blessed Lord and Saviour. Every once in a while they may target an O/T icon, such as the Ten Commandments, but keep in mind that Jesus Christ also taught us to obey those very same Commandments, (Mark 10:19). The main target of the ACLU is not Abraham or Moses or any of the Prophets. Neither is it Mohammed or Buddha, it is Jesus Christ and anything and everything associated with Him.
Isn't there something in civil rights legislation that requires the govt. to pay legal fees even if the case fails? Perhaps the ACLU is taxpayer-funded, after all.
