An MP whose house was burgled while his family and visitors slept has called for homeowners to be allowed to arm themselves with Taser stun guns.

Thieves broke into the home of Conservative Monmouth MP David Davies, stealing passports and £300 in cash.

He said he felt violated by the crime and wanted householders to be allowed to use police electronic stun guns.

Victim Support said while people should be able to use reasonable force, they should call 999.

If Britain is trying to outlaw knives now, how can they possibly allow one to have a taser?

HA HA HA HA !!!!!!!!!!! See, there's truth in that old adage that was along the lines of " a conservative is a liberal who has been mugged." Every once in a while the real world the rest of us have to live in bites a pol where it hurts.

Nothing stuns a burglar more than 7 rounds out of a 1911 A1.

They won't bother you again.

Actually, anything after the first or second round is really just sport shooting.

When the elites get scared the game changes. Kind of reminds me of Feinstein and Rosie.

Fully half of home invasions (where self-defence seems to be illegal) in the UK occur while someone is home. In the U.S. it is only 10%

Remember: with a Tazer, you only get ONE shot. You miss, you're done.

What's wrong with shotguns? Rock salt and chili pepper would make a nice nasty non lethal combination for those 'subjects'

God I love this country. In Britain a 'stun gun' is thought to be adequate for home protection...

Here in the good 'ol USA we just blow 'em right back through the door!

12 gauge shottie loaded with 00 buck...1911 with 7 rounds of FMJ or hollow point vs 'stun gun'.

You make the call...

It's only a matter of time before the innocent and good people of Britian are reduced to defending themselves with a rolled up newspaper.

Yeah I like sprinkling chili pepper and rock salt on my 0-0 buck shot ... works nice but fouls the barrel sometimes.
