I don't think she meant that they enjoyed having their husbands die the way they did. More like now that their husbands are dead, and being as liberal as they are, they are "enjoying" the time they now have to use their husbands death to advance the liberal cause. To the lib it's like taking a bad situation and making a positive one out of it. Libs always enjoy that mindset.

This is cerrtainly not a liberal mindset as it applies to life. I certainly subscribe to that mindset in my life. Always look for the opportunity that comes from every misfortune. It doesn't mean that one wishes for misfortune or "enjoys" it.
