Ahhhhh, it's so refreshing to see a man, legitimately ticked off at yet another government leak, who isn't afraid to display his anger and his manhood. He's right, they are 'bastards', and they're crucifying our troops for doing what they are trained to do.
I'm as riled as he is at all these pot shots taken at our brave troops in Iraq. Personally, I don't care if our troops kill every single one of the enemy, regardless of their civilian human sheilds. If they are shooting at our guys, and killing them, then fire back with everything you've got until they're all dead.
Muslims are the most dangerous people on earth because they are without morals, without mercy, without civility, without self-respect or respect for others, and without God..... there's is a religion of satan worship. Life means nothing to them; back-stabbers and cutthroats are on a higher moral plain than muslims.
Everyone has to be held accountable for their actions.
In cases where there is credible evidence that members of our military have stepped well outside of the rules of engagement, it needs to be investigated by our military. Not civilian courts, not some world court, but by our military.
There burden for proving a crime needs to be set high, and evidence needs to be solid.
I would be very surprised if these accusations are true.
I don't know if this investigation is being conducted because there was enough evidence to justify investigating, or if the military is bending to media and political pressure.
These leaks make me suspect the latter. Those leaking information about this ongoing investigation need to be caught and court marshaled. We are at war and such actions undermine our ability to wage that war. They should be dealt with accordingly.
They must be held accountable for their actions just as our soldiers must. At this point I haven't heard evidence that our soldiers have broken the rules of engagement. These leakers have.
Savage just had Sullivan on. Sometimes we need someone to rant.
Whew....it took almost this whole time to read that wonderful article you posted to me...
I was interrupted a few times..
I really appreciate you posting this...and, I suppose all of us should read it..
However, it is written as FACT, the first part, about what happened...and then told of the testimonies and trials of the Killer Team...
How do we KNOW what the "truth" is???
This is what I think will happen with the Haditha incident...we KNOW that Iraqis (not just the bad ones) will lie about anything, since it is part of their culture...
And, from what I have heard...NONE of the Marines in that case has squealed on any of the others..
So...how WILL we know for sure, unless we have to have the "beyond a shadow of a doubt" be the standard, in order to convict them of pre-meditated "in cold blood" (per Murtha), murder?
BTW...I was in jr. high school during Vietnam...and even though I am married to a Viet Vet (he's 7 years older)...I know way to little about anything to do with the war...so, if my posts sound ignorant, it is probably because I am ignorant about 99.9% of anything to do with Vietnam.
Thanks again..
The attorney is correct in his assessment.
Our troops do not deserve this.
By contrast, illegal aliens routinely get amnesty.
WE WANT AMNESTY FOR OUR TROOPS
well said!
I've purposely avoided the latest smear on our troops, but thought I'd take a peek at this. Good for that attorney!
Pray for our troops!
Nice to see this attorney's blood boil on a riotouse cause.
