Just yesterday, Senate Republicans blocked the Senate's own bipartisan comprehensive reform plan from moving forward in Congress

Amazing, 10,000 posts screaming about the Illegal Immigration bill and NONE of the Antis thought this would be importat to point out?

It was pointed out.

Harry is referring to the unconstitutional tax provisions in the amnesty legislation. Spending originates in the House by writ of the Constitution. His attitude is that this being unconstitutional is a minor matter, therefore conference between the House and Senate should commence.

Republicans are now arguing over whether to attach the bulk of the legislation to another bill to save it, which would require another vote Harry doesn't want to schedule. Or, start all over.

The Senate Republicans aren't trying to kill it, they simply can't agree on how to keep it afloat..and get Harry onboard for another vote-yet.
