Funny, I don't remember adoring pieces in Time, Newsweek or the Washington Post about Free Republic. Even when we were framing the debate on the impeachment of Clinton, or unmasking Dan Rather.
Odd.
No bias there, huh? This puff piece had me laughing all the way through, especially the parts about how Kos himself admits that if one wants high minded debate, don't visit Daily Kos.
You joined 6 years before I did, but when you were on the inside, I remember reading a lot about Free Republic in the late 1990s. It helped that Trixie was still here and Bob Barr spoke at the rally, but FR was pretty big news. Nothing like this had been done before.
Now that Republicans are in control of the government instead of Clintoon, the media is looking at who they consider the outsiders. That's the liberals.
We're not a government-in-exile any more, really.
Good point...seems our clout is not covered as much
as the liberals...how they easily get the money and
our sight...seems to be plugging day to day,..how did
Moveon..sight generate so damn much money during the
'04 campaign??..did Soros and his ilk..put in the big
bucks..? guess so. Freepers just do their thing...
but ..they are monitoring us...you can bet your sweet
bippy...Jake
I wonder if Ann Marie didn't give Moulitsas a Lewinsky with this article when she was done.
Never mind that Kos is driving the D's further and further to the left, leaving the sane D's essentially one choice . . .
Yeah, gees, I wonder why. It almost seems like TIME and NEWS WEAK have a politically symbiotic relationship with the likes of Kos. I don't imagine that's true for these objective journalists.
Oh, you mean back when CNN and the rest referred to us as racists and militant militia members?
Ana Marie Cox is better knows as Wonkette, another raving far-left moonbat blogger.
