Lt. Gov: McClintock
Sec. State: Mc Pherson
Controller: Strickland
Treasurer: Parrish
Atty Gen: Poochigian
Ins. Commissioner: writing in "None of the Above" (no one has qualified as an official write-in candidate and I'm not voting for Poizner)
Senator: Mountjoy
Sup. Publ. Instr: Lenning
Prop 81: NO!
Prop 82: NO! (I wish there was a "hell no" box on the ballot)
Marked up my voting pamphlet (and my hubby's) and am ready to go after work - I usually go first thing in the morning, but had to drop my car off for service.
While I was riding in the dealer's shuttle to work, all the guys in the van were complaining about having no one good to vote for, "and this 'group' in office is the worst ever" - sounded like they weren't going to go and vote today. Since they sounded like Dims, I just smiled and didn't say a word. Let them stay home, nothing is going to keep me away from the polls today - even if I have to hold my nose and vote for a couple of these candidates - the alternative is too scary to contemplate.
