Good for the WSJ; finally it is in print, rather than just on the net:

"The more of Mr. Fitzgerald's case that becomes public, the more it looks like he has made the terrible mistake for a prosecutor of taking Joe Wilson's side in what was essentially a political fight."

As if that hasn't been obvious all along.

The prosecutor comes close here to suggesting that senior government officials have no right to fight back against critics who make false allegations

That is exactly what he's doing

and I think this schmuck, Fitzgerald, is not finished playing politics. I think on the eve of the November elections he will come out with an indictment, or two, that will try and make the Bush Whitehouse look complicit.

Just MHO.

The Special Prosecutors Ken Starr and Fitzgerald ,neither has enough good sense to pour pee out of a boot , with a hole in the toe and the directions on the heel.

"...(Mr. Wilson joined the Kerry campaign until he was dropped after the official probes destroyed his credibility.) ..."

Now there's a noteworthy comment.

The KERRY campaign found someone too unbelievable to be of any use....

I wonder how many times Fitzgerald wakes up at night, in a cold sweat, with the thought, "What if Joe Wilson is the liar"?

Wow! That's a great editorial.

The more of Mr. Fitzgerald's case that becomes public, the more it looks like he has made the terrible mistake for a prosecutor of taking Joe Wilson's side in what was essentially a political fight.

I happen to believe that it was Fitzgerald's staff who got him into this mess, and Fitz should really get rid of some of these people and extricate himself from this case post haste. It looks like he doesn't have a friend in the building. His reputation has taken some very serious damage.

Thw Wall Street Journal article just sliced and diced the micro-testicles of arrogant mega-shyster Patrick Fitzgerald.

Spitzditz: "Your honor, I wish to place into evidence an OP-ED from the New York Times."

Judge: Request denied, and uh, this stupid lame-assed case is dismissed!
