I used to like her, but this does it for me.
The reason she is so popular is because she turns vehemently against not only anyone who doesnt agree with her but also anyone who doesnt fit into her idea of what American is. Her little quip about rag heads at CPAC shows this, alienating even loyal Americans just to have some of you cheer her for being tough on Islam.
My stance on the absoluteness of individual rights is firm, from what Ive read stronger then hers. I dont think anyone can loath liberals as much as she but Im close. Im for border control, retaking our schools, and I own a gun but to her and people like her Im the enemy because I dont believe in god. She it not a real conservative, a real conservative is a classical liberal who SHOULDNT give a damn about what peoples beliefs are, only to create a system where each individuals rights are protected equally. Coulter is so concerned with the whole: the country, the party, the cause; that she ignores the individual. Dont cheer her, people like her and her divisiveness is keeping any kind of unity from happening and preventing new people from joining up. Yes you have to draw a line in the sand, youd be morally wrong not to do so, but dont draw it in front of your own supporters.
