Remember that the BATFE was running the show in NOLA. You should be asking the ATF where the confiscated weapons went, because the NOLA PD handed most of the weapons over to the BATF after confiscating them, and the BATF was giving the order to sieze the firearms.
The Feds did in NOLA. the BATF was the point agency for LEO's in NOLA.
