I'm well aware of that, but they still vote Democrat by a huge margin.

I used to walk precincts for 'R' candidates in Southern California many moons ago. I would ask folks how they could reconcile voting for a Democrat knowing God's law.

They responded frequently, "We are poor people. The Democrats give us stuff, God will understand". And permit me to add, the singular group that consistently votes 'R' is the Cubans, but Dubya sends the military to intercept them.
