I used to think so. But now I think that if we are hit again, the left will just say that it wouldn't have happened if we hadn't invaded Iraq and so on. All Bush's fault still and forever.

Yes, and the Islamo-Fascists are keenly aware of the Media and the Liberal/Socialists here who would jump on the election year attack as a means to further "bash Bush", and "we're not safer...we need our troops home NOW" that would follow an attack. They would milk every ounce of mileage in the MSM to convince the dupes that only THEY (the "chosen ones", aka, Democrats) can lead this country to safety, prosperity, world-supported kumbaya peace, yada, yada, yada.
