What is this guy's problem?

It is like talking to a brick wall. A waste of electrons. He apparently cannot differentiate "believe" from "examine". Because we don't just take his word for it and reject it out of hand (and we don't know him from a hole in the wall, he is somehow offended by it) we believe it?
