Commissioner Diana Irey, running for PA's 12th District Congressional seat against Rep. Jack Murtha, will be joining us for a live question and answer session at 8:00 pm EDT on June 14th.
Between now and 7:00 pm EDT on the 14th, please submit - via FReepmail to Questions4Irey - questions you'd like to see answered by Ms. Irey. The moderators will review and prioritize the questions and present them to Ms. Irey one at a time. If time permits and the candidate is agreeable, some open questions on the live thread may be addressed. But your best bet is to get your questions in to Questions4Irey early.
We look forward to your participation!

Thread background:
Beginning June 5th questions for Diana Irey were solicited and received from the Free Republic (FR) audience. Late on June 12th 37 questions from 24 posters were compiled and forwarded to two FR moderators and Diana Ireys staff. No questions were removed for being judged as too easy, too difficult, etc. Some grammar corrections were made, and any editorial insertions are noted by brackets.
The two moderators then reviewed the entire list, and selected and prioritized the questions to be asked during our live thread. Ms. Ireys staff was informed that this comprehensive list was merely a starting point for them to prepare detailed responses. Other, subsequently received questions could still be asked, and not all of the comprehensive list will be presented to her during the thread.
As of 5:00pm EDT xxx additional posters submitted an additional xxx questions for consideration.

Thank you for your participation!

Mission confusion?
Thank you....I am really looking forward to this...
BTW...I just heard a clip on ABC News about Bush's visit to Baghdad...where Schmucky Schumer said he is "glad that President Bush went over there, to see it...and then maybe he come up with a plan to get us out of that quagmire"...
All of THIS, while Kerry is giving a speech about calling for a date certain for withdrawal bill...
I am sure Murtha will love that...
BTW..did you hear that on Thursday, they will be having a 10 hour debate, divided equally, in the House, for a debate about the war???
Do you have any idea what time the live thread will start up?

Diana Irey has agreed to appear for one hour, from 8:00-9:00 pm EDT.
A moderator will welcome Diana Irey, allow for an opening statement by her, and then proceed to deliver questions one at a time for Ms. Irey to review and respond.
In order to facilitate a smooth presentation and make for easier reading, we ask all thread participants to refrain from posting during her interview. Moderators will be closely monitoring the thread, and any attempts at disruption will be quickly dealt with.
After Ms. Ireys departure, her campaign manager or another representative may be available for open questions and clarifications from the FR audience.
This thread, as with all other FR threads, will remain in the archives for future review and research.
