The raid was 25 years ago this week. Will history repeat itself? Will the world standby and allow Iran's nuke program to prosper? Stay tuned !

Lots of info on how the raid was carried out, nothing on why it was done.

Osarik 25th anniversary ping!
I remember when I first heard about the raid, and my gut reaction was "way to go Israel!" The media, the UN, and the nations publicly condemned Israel (though privately everyone was relieved), but a lot of Christians and every Jewish person I knew were very happy at Israel's action.
BTW, 39 years ago today was the start of Israel's great victory in the Six Day War - am Yisrael Chai!

Will the world standby and allow Iran's nuke program to prosper?I now believe so... and more importantly... I believe the Iranians do also.

I now believe so... and more importantly... I believe the Iranians do also. George W. Bush will stop Iran!
Diplomaticly, or more likely by military force. Of that I have no doubt.

Lots of info on how the raid was carried out, nothing on why it was done. They confirmed Saddam wanted nuclear weapons, they wanted to take it out before it was loaded with fuel, and they were afraid the next government might not do anything until Saddam had actually made nuclear weapons.

As the the rest of the year unfolds... you will find few European nations(except GB) willing to put meaningful sanctions on Iran... or a willingness to discuss harsher measures as Iran keeps developing and the clock keeps ticking. Russia and China will be adamantly vocal of their objections to harsh sanctions... or blockade. Look for one or both to warn of dire consequences should military action be taken by the US, Britain or Israel.
While Bush has the conviction to act... I firmly believe that a majority in Congress and the MSM doesn't... in fact, they will do everything in their power to sabotage such action.

I know that, what I was getting at is the BBC didn't want to acknowledge that Saddam has always wanted to get/have/use/develop WMD's.

Americans already support stopping Iran by a good majority one way or the other, as long as that remains Congress will be onboard.
As for our so called allies, it will be a coalition of the willing, picture the US, Great Britain, Germany, and Israel may even play a small role.
Russia and China will probably abstain at the UNSC when it comes to any kind of sanctions, soft or hard. But when the time comes where we have to use military force, and this time I wouldn't expect a debate at the UNSC, it will be up to the coalition of the willing. As much as Russia and China will threaten, when it comes down to it they won't do a thing. If this was happening about 20 years from now, I'd be worried about china but not at the present time.
Also I think the decision has already been made. We are simply positioning the chess pieces, then it's checkmate for Iran.

I have huge admiration of the men and women of the IDF. They realize they are fighting 750 million Arabs that want them dead. That is why I am support on giving them all the technical assistance they need.

Saddam's French constructed Osirak nuclear reactor was removed due to the brilliant leadership of Likud's greatest Prime Minister!
