Bush is a heck of a guy and I have the greatest admiration for him. His biggest weakness is an unwillingness or inability to communicate his ideas to the American people, which of course was Reagan's greatest strength.

I think that the President does a better job than he is given credit for. He actually does communicate the important information and people instinctively understand it. In addition, President Reagan had exceptional training in this area.

That said, his ability to talk around the press has been his biggest handicap. But I judge people on what they do, not what they say. And in that, they are both giants.

If you really listen to President Bush, he DOES communicate with the people...

Unfortunately, so many people listen with the goal of picking him apart...rather than listen to what he has to actually say...

Also..the media is pretty complicit in that problem, because they seem to have a HUGH disregard for his speeches and town hall type meetings..

It is darn near impossible to see them...
