I suggest that you stop trying to go with what you remember and look up the facts.

I was not only an adult, through both of Reagan's presidential terms, but worked VERY hard to get him elected. Unlike many here, I actually remember the factual history of that time period.

Bush and the GOP CONTROL All Three Branches The Executive, HOUSE AND SENATE.

Which makes Reagans accopmlishments all the more amazing.
