Oh.....yeah.....feel good sycophancy like you have for Reagan?

Actually, I see some folks' seeming need to tear down Reagan to try and somehow make the current President look better as a sign of real desperation.

I loved Reagan, but he wasn't perfect, I mentioned earlier that he signed the bill that has been a major cause of this immigration nonsense.....a real amnesty, genuine article.....do you still like him knowing he hurt your one policy so much?

I do.

Oh, come on, EV. The only reason those of us who admire Bush even bring up Reagan, is that those of you who despise President Bush lift Reagan up as a god, and beat President Bush over the head with the idol you've made.

It's absurd.

Every single one of us (other than the young ones) who admire and respect President Bush, also admired and respected President Reagan.

But we remember things historically accurately, and not through your rosy, foggy glasses of perfection.

When all is said and done, President Bush will have done as much or more for conservativism as Reagan, and some day, if you haven't gone off the deep end of sanity because of your unchecked anger...........you'll admit that too.

What you see as "tearing down Reagan" is really being realistic about Reagan, rather than worshiping like so many on this website and on talk radio do.
