Ammonium nitrate is 34-0-0 (NPK ratio). Suppose we accept a 300#/acre nitrogen application for row crops, 6000# of ammonium nitrate is required for 6 acres.
So......where's their produce stand?

6 acres is a quite large garden, very small farm.

300# per acre x 6 acres does not equal 6000#.
