Words escape me and I'm just left with a lump in my throat when I consider the legacy of Ronald Reagan there will never be another like him. Gods speed Mr. President.

We miss you Mr. President.

He was the first POTUS that I was old enough to vote for, and to this day I treasure making that vote. He was a genuine conservative, albeit with his own faults, and I hope that we get another one at least vaguely similar in my lifetime.
On a lighter note, this image always makes me chuckle. It shows his spontaneous character and connect with the American people, as well as the press corp.

Whenever I think about the change in the Republican party since he left office, it reminds me of the line from Simon and Garfunkel's Mrs. Robinson, only I replace it with "where have you gone Ronald Reagan".

I think the general public has more respect for Reagan as time goes on. I think 50 years from now he will universally be considered one of the greatest presidents.

what's there to miss? you people think he was a conservative? picking ultra liberal bush as v.p. most of his cabinet ultra left cfr? could have taken us out of u.n. but cfr george schultz told him no. whined about panama giveaway when carter was in but did nothing about it when he himself became prez. gonna shut down dept. of education. yeah right. scurried to gorbachav's side whenever that rat was in town. gonna cut spending and balance budget just like when he was governor. what happened? every anniversary his bones outta be tied behind a pick up truck and dragged around town. this present half wit filth bush ain't no better. try to name one thing these guys would ever do for america.
