Canadians will never wake up. Even if (heaven forbid) a group of islamofascists suceeds in inflicting a 9/11 on Canada, Canadians will just blame Bush for it. The spin has already begun. A lot of Canadian bloggers are taking the opinion that they are being targeted because they allowed Bush to "bully" them into Afghanistan.

Our boys a re taking care of business and somehow you can spin this into
a "blame Bush" scenario..
Canadians know Bush didn't bully us into Afghanistan.
A member of NATO (the USA)was attacked and by treaty obligation, an
attack on any NATO country
is an attack on all NATO countries and we are obligated to assist - just
like you would be obligated to help us respond if a foreign power were to
attack us.
Methinks you're a little jealous that our boys are takin care of business
