“Our results suggest that a potentially successful Democratic nominee may be lurking in the entertainment industry. Does this sound strange? Maybe. I love this sentence. Loony tunes analysis.

People thought that it was loony for an actor to run for president once before. I seem to recall that that actor's candidacy worked out okay.

Ronald Reagan..........very true and Thank God for it, but he happened to be a very successful governor first before he ran for POTUS.

The article says an Democratic nominee may be lurking in the entertainment industry. as in right now, straight from Hollyweird to the White house, maybe a liberal wet dream, but isn't going to happen any time soon

Yeah, but Ronnie had already done a longish stint as Governor of California, and had missed the nomination at least once. No-one like that now.

Yes, but while he was an actor, he was also a union activist. But he also became a commentator, then a governor, and only then, after some delay, President.
