In fact I think homosexuals contribute much more of what we consider beauty and wonderment in our miserable lives.

You seem to have a very high opinion of homosexuals in general, even higher than most heteros it seems. This is likely due to a close relationship with your nephew, so you'd be more sensitive to issues that concern him.

But on that point I must vehemently disagree. Simple math tells us there's not enough of them to contribute a significant portion of what "we consider beauty and wonderment". That is unless one has a predisposition to homosexual tastes in fashion, art and such.

I'd rather eat a meal prepared by my nephew than The Cable Guy.

I'd rater eat something I've killed myself. In fact, I'll bet that most "Larry the Cable Guy" types can track, kill, gut, cut and grill their very own meat. Can your nephew? Style is one thing, but not always what's needed. Style or practicality, each has their place and time. Don't be to quick to dismiss one or the other.

My heart's been beating for almost 60 years. And I have not been living in a bubble or a cave.

I hardly know my nephews for logistical reasons alone. I get the obligatory Christmas cards and birth and death announcements.

No, the reasons I am sensitive to this issue is that I have had numerous friendships and acquaintances with homosexuals.

The ones I know and knew are impeccably clean as to their personal hygeine and housekeeping. They display a keen eye for the arts. I am speaking about men here of course. My lesbian knowledge is very limited...but like pornography, you usually know them when you see them.

I didn't say I couldn't enjoy a freshly killed rabbit stew. I just prefer steak diane. ;^)

"vehenmently" disagree?? ;^)
