Now, perhaps you meant to say that while there may be a genetic predisposition towards homosexual behavior, it doesn't mean the individual must act on it. That, I can agree with.
Just as there may be genetic predispositions to pedophilia, bestiality, incest, necrophilia, or even heterosexual nymphomania, that doesn't mean that society must accept this deviant sexual behavior. No more than they should accept a genetic predisposition to criminal behavior.
The bottom line is that to say it's genetic is a cop-out. It implies no willpower, character, or self-esteem. It makes us slaves to our basest desires.
