The obvious conclusion for most students will be that homosexuality is a legitimate lifestyle, i.e., there is nothing wrong with it.

This is directly contrary to what Christianity teaches and it affects one's eternal welfare. Thus, the Christian parent now has the situation where the public schools, by force of law, are undermining parental authority and the well being of all children. They are saying, in effect, your child belongs to us, not you; we will determine what he will believe and the values by which he will live.

The only alternatives for Christian parents are Christian schools and home schooling. Homosexuals will not be satisfied with their victory in this case. Their agenda includes all aspects of society. Christian schools and home schooling are on their target list. If these alternatives are taken away, the Christian community will have nothing left but to watch the intellectual, moral, and physical rape of their children.

Revolutions and civil war have been brought about by things like this.

It is a case of the minority attempting to impose it's immoral views on the silent majority. At some point the majority will cease being silent.

I agree with your assessment. What gives the state the right to interfere with the religious values of the children/parents? How about teaching in the same class that some people, including Christians, religious Jews and Muslims believe that homosexuality is a deviation and a sin? Christianity in particular, doesn't condemn the person, but the behavior, there is a distinct difference. Hopefully, this ruling will precipitate an increase in enrollment in religious schools.
