" The twenty-somethings, who are really active, are still fighting the 2000 and 2004 elections, convincing themselves they "was robbed."

Did you happen to catch Robert Kennedy, Jr on The Situation Room with Wolf B on Friday ?
He was on to discuss his article in Rolling Stone that purports to show new evidence that Ohio was stolen from Kerry.
Anyway..something was most definitely wrong with RFK,Jr.
He looked bleary eyed and disheveled. His voice sounded very tremulous-like he was doing a bad Katherine Hepburn imitation. Either he has some as yet unannounced, neurological disorder or he's gotten into cousin Patrick's stash.
I sensed that Wolf couldn't wait to get him off the air.

It did a real number on the economy of that area, for no reason (other than greed)... I'm really developing a strong dislike for the ability of the executive to make things happen with the stoke of the pen and not the will of congress or the people.

What's sad is that their "jobs and pensions" are not in question.

One more reason we have problems, and the hammer that should be available to use to keep them from breaking the law and not doing their jobs.

Dole probably didn't have a chance even with out HRP, but Bush I probably would have won without the Perot. Bush I had disenchanted a lot of people but they would still have voted for him rather than Clinton if Perot hadn't given them an alternative.

ref #724, this may be the only time that Graham could drop the JAG reference in there and it be appropriate. He is known for slipping it in every chance he gets even when it is not pertinent to the conversation. He sort of reminds me of the all immigration all the time people who turn a thread about anything under the Sun into an Immigration thread. They could turn/hijack a thread about the Sun into Immigration.

The only one who didn't bash him was Tony Snow, although he was critical a couple of times, although in a policy-oriented and non-bloviating way.

I have quit listening to all of them unless it's by accident (like when Rush comes on my car radio before I can switch to the Catholic station). I just can't put up with their emotional rants. I distinctly remember Rush bragging about how conservatives weren't ruled by emotion, yet it seems he spends a lot of time doing emotinally-charged rants.

And he is the best of the lot. The rest are worse, and are not helping the situation at all.

No, I did not see the interview. The Rolling Stone article WAS caught here on FR if you want to find it. The comments revolved around Kennedy using questionable (read leftist) sources for his conclusions and questions of whether or not he was still on drugs?

This dumb thing was sent to me by three Democrats who are using it to justify their side and ridicule us nonbelievers. The most upsetting aspect is they keep saying "even President Bush accepts the problem of global warming as real" so WHY don't "I" accept it?

I have to say, Rush was more right on this than I think even he knew. This is a religion to these environmentalists and whacko Democrats.

Okay fellow Minnesotan...

It seems so darn obvious to us why the pussyfooting around?

I think Murtha is about to eat a ton of crow. The only reason the military is doing an ivestigation is because of a CNN video right.....>?.... And propaganda is the enemies best weapon... hmm Murtha being used like a dog????????

Now let's look at this from a conclusion that would be the best.. Say the military comes out after it's investigation and states the video was staged and that it was not the work of US service personell...what then?

If it goes three ways and it's McCain as an I, Hillary as a D and Rudy as an R, I would bet on Rudy.

I have no beef with Max Mayfield, and hope that no one thought I did, when I used his name on this thread. I was making a feeble attempt to imitate drive-by media because there was a high wind in samantha's neighborhood.

It was done by Executive Order. IF there's enough outrage or demand ANY future President can change it. It you're upset with it, contact your senator or representative. If you think that is an exercise in futility, contact your state RNC representative to put pressure on them.

In fact, this is good advice to every Freeper. The National Republican Party has a central committee made up of two representatives from each state. This is the oversight, governing, committee from each state. These people usually fly under the radar, doing their jobs. If anyone contacts them or pressures them, they carry that to every national RNC meeting they attend.

Gentle hint. I suggest not mass mailing them or harassing them over general issues. Be selective, specific and pointed over whatever you want them to deal with. If you try to cover too much, or write too often, they will discard the whole thing which hurts the rest of us who are talking to them. They will not respond to out of state writers either, because they represent their states Republican party and the caucauses or other elective procedures to run the state party.

I have always wondered..what do you do with all those fish you catch? Do you eat them? Do you have a gazillion mounted trophies? Just curious, as the last fish I caught was a bluegill in Wisconsin when I was 12.
